Satoru Mori, our multi-award-winning Executive Sommelier of Conrad Tokyo, was selected to receive the 2017 Contemporary Master Craftsman awards. The Contemporary Master Craftsman system, under the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare in Japan, is intended to honor technicians with outstanding skills who are recognized as leaders in their fields.

The Autumn Afternoon Tea at Conrad London St James celebrates the abundance of the harvest season and the chill in the air as the nights draw in. The tea has been created by Executive Pastry Chef Diana Sedlakova, who has elegantly blended the traditions of a classic afternoon tea with contemporary techniques, all inspired by the colours and flavours of the time of year. The Autumn Afternoon Tea is served in the stylish Emmeline’s Lounge, named after the 19th Century British political activist Emmeline Pankhurst.
