Conrad Hotels & Resorts announces the opening of its first luxury Conrad property in Mainland China, located in picturesque Haitang Bay in Sanya, Hainan Island. The magnificent Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay is the first hotel to open in Haitang Bay, the newest resort area to be developed on the southern tip of Hainan Island, known as China’s “tropical paradise”. Conrad Sanya Haitang Bay is owned by China’s Wanda Group, a leading real estate developer in China.
This year marks the 25th anniversary for Conrad Hotels & Resorts, one of Hilton Worldwide’s global luxury brands. To celebrate this milestone anniversary, the brand will offer a series of special celebrations throughout 2011. Beginning with the Conrad 25th Anniversary offer, guests are afforded the opportunity to book spring vacations or weekend getaways and receive one complimentary night based on a minimum night stay at the brand’s 16 premier city hotels and exclusive resort destinations.
